Compassionate Leave

All employees are entitled to take up to two days of paid Compassionate Leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family or member of the employee’s household contracts or develops a personal illness or sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to the member’s life.

An employee is also entitled to Compassionate Leave if the family/household member dies.
