The Privacy Policy, implemented by Taipan, extends to, and covers all operations and function of the organisation. All directors, management, employees, contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, service providers, customers, agents or any other third parties that have access to and/or utilise personal information collected and/or held by Taipan must abide by this Privacy Policy.
The objective of the Privacy Policy is to ensure that a sound privacy foundation and framework is established and maintained by Taipan and the company complies with the relevant privacy legislation: Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth), Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (QLD), Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (Commonwealth) and others.

The purpose of this register is to have this information readily available in the event of an emergency, rather than limiting access to this information to only authorised HR personnel, which may result in delays.
This information is confidential and only used in an emergency situation, in the event of being absent from work without prior notice or having failed to contact your supervisor prior to 9am on day of absence. This information is not to be used, stored, shared or distributed for any non-work related reasons.
In accordance with individual rights in the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you must consent to have any/all of your personal details made available on this register. If you elect not to do so, this information will only be accessible through authorised personnel (HR Officer/Payroll Officer/Financial Controller).
