This section covers a range of circumstances where an employee’s employment with Taipan ceases. This includes circumstances initiated by either the employer or the employee. There is a wide range of laws relevant to termination of employment. The following section deals with departures in general and covers both legal compliance requirements as well as procedures.
On leaving Taipan, employees are responsible for returning any Taipan property, which they have been issued for the purposes of their employment. The property should be in good condition, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.
