Retirement

Retirement procedures are essentially the same as resignation procedures.

It is expected that any employee wishing to retire takes the appropriate steps to minimise the impact on Taipan. Retirement can affect staff morale and the operation of the company.

Employees should give their intention to retire as soon as practical.

Advance notice is important as more often the individual will be a senior person, with a long history within the organisation.
